Common questions
How do I calculate a discount?
Multiply the original price by the discount percentage divided by 100 to get the amount saved. Subtract that from the original price to get the final price.
What does the margin impact show?
If you enter your cost, we compute the profit left after the discount (final price minus cost) and express it as a margin percentage of the final price. It shows whether the promo still makes sense.
Are the numbers precise?
Yes. This is exact arithmetic, not an estimate. Rounding is only applied for display.
